Please read these Terms of Service carefully. By accessing or using the Service as defined below, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. Along with the Dhiride Policies, these Terms of Service constitute a legally binding Agreement between you and Dhiride. This Agreement governs your access to and use of the taxi and transportation services provided by Dhiride. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms of Service, please refrain from using the Platform or the Service.
Dhiride reserves the right to modify the terms of this Agreement at any time, without prior notice. Any amendments or updates will become effective immediately upon being posted on https://dhiride.mv or through the Dhiride mobile application. It is your responsibility to regularly review the Terms of Service to stay informed of any changes.
By using the Service, you confirm that you are of legal age or have obtained legal consent from a parent or guardian. You affirm that you have the legal authority to enter into this Agreement and that your use of the Service does not violate any applicable laws.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account login credentials. You agree to notify Dhiride immediately of any unauthorized use or breach of security involving your account. Dhiride will not be liable for any loss resulting from unauthorized use of your account.
You agree to indemnify and hold Dhiride, its affiliates, officers, and employees harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising out of: Your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party (including transport partners).
Dhiride is a technology company that operates a platform enabling users to book transportation services from third-party drivers. Dhiride serves as a technology provider linking passengers to drivers. Dhiride disclaims all liability for the actions or omissions of drivers. Drivers are independent contractors and are neither employees nor representatives of Dhiride.
You agree to use Dhiride only for lawful purposes. You must not engage in fraudulent activities, impersonation, or actions that disrupt the Platform. Dhiride reserves the right to terminate access for any violation of these terms.
Dhiride does not guarantee uninterrupted access to the service. The platform may be subject to maintenance or technical failures beyond our control. We reserve the right to modify or remove content, including pricing or service availability, without notice.
The Platform allows you to request transportation services from independent Drivers. All ride bookings placed on the Platform are treated as confirmed. You understand that ride availability depends on the proximity and willingness of Drivers in your area.
Cancellations: If you cancel a ride after a Driver has accepted the request, or if you are not present at the pickup location after the Driver arrives, you may be liable for a cancellation fee to compensate the Driver for their time and fuel.
4.1. You undertake to use your best endeavors to ensure that passengers are transported safely and in accordance with the traffic laws of the Maldives.
4.2. You must hold a valid national driving license and all required permits for taxi operations at all times. You must maintain valid vehicle insurance and roadworthiness documentation.
4.3. Zero Tolerance: The following behaviors are strictly prohibited and will result in immediate termination and legal action: sexual harassment, threats, intimidation, reckless driving, and any criminal acts. Driver-passenger interactions must remain professional at all times.
4.4. You must comply with all speed limits and traffic signals, including specific safety regulations for travel between Malé and Hulhumalé.
Dhiride may charge fees for services provided. By using the Service, you agree to pay the fare calculated by the platform or agreed upon via the service interface, including any applicable taxes or tolls.
Payments must be made using authorized methods provided on the Platform (e.g., cash or digital payment). Failure to complete a payment for a completed ride may result in permanent suspension of your account.
All ride payments are final. If you have a dispute regarding a fare or a specific trip, you must submit a request through the Dhiride support channel within 24 hours. Dhiride will evaluate the request and its decision on such matters shall be final.
